We have received some calls from people who have wondered in light of recent weather forecasts if our Festival is on.

The positive answer to that question is that because of the fact that a considerable part of our festival activities are under a huge tent, in church or in our hall, we will continue as planned.

Some inflatable amusements will be available for children in our gym and some outside as well. There will be games for children in the gym. Make sure to stop by Padre Pio candy corner which will be both inside the gym and outside in the tent.

In the children’s pavilion and tent outside; we will have Puppets Pizzazz(Saturday 2-3 pm), Sand Art(Saturday 3:30-4:30) and Padre Pio for kids(Sunday 12-4 pm)

The parish picnic buffet food service along with all of our scheduled entertainment will take place as planned in our huge outdoor tent. Our food trucks will place themselves close to the outdoor tent so as to prevent patrons from standing in the rain.

The two main festival Masses namely, Saturday nights vigil Mass and the 11:30 Solemn Mass will definitely be celebrated.

As too will the blessing of the relics after the Saturday vigil and Sunday healing service at 1:30 pm.

If the street procession is affected by the weather we will have a mini procession in church after the 11:30 Mass.

In the meantime, using the advice of Padre Pio, “we will pray, hope and not worry”.
